I am obsessed with Youtube.
The amount of time I spend on Youtube daily surpasses the amount of time I spend on any other social media platforms.
I always tend to go through a decent amount of reviews on Youtube in prior to purchasing any product, as videos are simply informative. As such, I feel like doing some sharing-sharing today and am going to list down the Youtubers whom I subscribe to, whose videos I watch a lot, for more skincare information.
This makes my post informative too hehe.
Okay let’s get the shiet rolling.
1.SkinCareByHyram
This youtuber started 2 years ago and he has been gaining subscribers so rapidly that he now has 2.28M subscribers. Yes, 2.28M in 2 years and such astonishing rate definitely says something.
He made videos where he would talk about a brand and list down its products from his least to his most favorite meanwhile dissect the ingredient list of those products. Also, he would share some skincare tips and react to+correct people’s skincare routines.
Among all types of content he made, I like his brand dissection videos the most because damn, I would very much like to know if a brand that I kinda like is being like-worthy or not and whether the products I am using have a promising ingredient list. It is because of him that I started to pay more attention on fragrance when purchasing any skincare product.
2. LiahYoo
I think you guys must have heard of her because she is the founder of Krave Beauty!
Damn, she went from being a Youtuber to a Youtuber+Businesswoman!
She talked about skincare tips, the Dos and the Don’ts, food to get clear skin and her favorite products. I started to have interest in facial oils after watching one or two of her videos where she mentioned how facial oils have been the game changer to her skin. I think she always stays true to her words and her Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief Serum is Great as hell.
3. James Welsh
Skincare Hacks, Myths, Tips. He would also share his opinions on the products he had been testing out lately and skincare reaction videos. More towards his experience with the products, such as how they felt on the skin, the texture and fragrance etc, and less on the ingredients.
4. Gothamista
The way she talked always set me into a relaxing, zen mode. There was something about her voice that was calming and therapeutic.
She shared about her skincare routines and skincare faves like favorite sunscreens, favorite lip balms, favorite moisturizers and favorite active ingredients.
One underrated Youtuber !
You might have noticed that I am writing less and less as we move on. It is because all these channels talk about pretty much the same thing but well, it is through gathering different information from multiple sources that we get a clearer idea on skincare aite!
Where are we. Oh, okay no.5.
5. Beauty Within
Yes the same recipe aka Skincare Tips, Routines, Dos and Don’ts.
They tested out products and reviewed them. I like how they would film their daily progress with the products like a vlog, providing the viewers a more realistic review. They also talked about food to consume and to avoid for clear skin. I like their videos on drinks for good skin 🙂
